Clare, Cassandra. Clockwork

Tessa Gray decides to leave England to head
to the United States in search for her brother. When she arrives, she is
quickly swept away and held captive by the Dark Sisters and forced to learn to
use an ability she didn’t even know she had. Being forced into a marriage with
the Magister, Tessa Gray is hopeless until Will Herondale comes to the rescue.
Tessa is taken from an everyday mundane world and thrown into a world of
Demons, Shadowhunters, and Witches all the while trying to decide between her
feelings between Will and Jem.
The Clockwork Angel is a book that is
filled with constant action, and just when you think you have the book figured
out, you realize that it takes another twist. The Clockwork Angel really
embodies the area of steampunk and thrives off of action. I would highly
recommend this book as it is sure to pull you in and keep you wanting more.
Meredith, 13 year old, states, “This book has constant
action. I don’t know who I want Tessa to end up with.”
